The SigenMicro AC Trunk Terminator is a small weatherproof end cap fitted to the final connector at the end of a SigenMicro AC Trunk Cable run. Every rooftop trunk cable ends at some point, and that last connector needs to be sealed against water and dust ingress rather than left open to the elements.
It clips directly onto the end connector of the trunk cable, closing off the run once the last microinverter in the string has been connected. This keeps the IP-rated seal of the whole AC bus intact for the lifetime of the installation, protecting the electrical connection from rain, condensation, and debris.
It is a companion part to the SigenMicro AC Trunk Port Cap, which performs a similar sealing job on unused mid-run connectors rather than at the physical end of the cable.
