The Sigenergy Sigen Sensor TP-CT300 is a three phase smart power sensor that measures grid import and export at the point of connection, so your Sigenergy system always knows what the site is drawing from or sending to the grid. It uses indirect measurement through three external 300 A current transformers (included), and reports back over RS485 using Modbus RTU.
With support for 3P3W and 3P4W supplies and CTs rated to 300 A per phase, it suits larger three-phase homes and commercial sites running SigenStor systems. The compact 19 mm wide DIN rail housing mounts neatly inside the distribution board or a dedicated enclosure.

Installation Safety
Installation must be carried out by a competent, qualified electrician in line with BS 7671 and Sigenergy's installation guide. Isolate the supply before working on the meter or fitting the CTs, and follow the manufacturer's instructions for CT orientation, phase matching and wiring.
Compatibility and Model Selection
This is the TP-CT300 with 300 A CTs for three phase supplies. Choose the CT rating to suit the incoming supply per phase, and note that the TP-CT300-DH is a different Sigenergy model. Always check your Sigenergy inverter or SigenStor model supports this sensor before ordering.
What Is in the Box
1 x Sigen Sensor TP-CT300 meter and 3 x 300 A current transformers with 1 m cables, so no separate CT purchase is needed.
Key Features
Three Phase Import and Export Metering
Measures power flowing to and from the grid across all three phases, giving the system the data it needs to balance solar, battery and site load.
1% Power Accuracy
0.5% voltage accuracy, 0.5% current accuracy (12 to 300 A) and 1% power accuracy for dependable control and reporting.
Three Included 300 A CTs
Three external CTs rated to 300 A each, with a 24 mm inner diameter and 1 m lead, supplied in the box.
RS485 Modbus RTU
Industry-standard RS485 communication at 9,600 bps for a reliable, wired link to Sigenergy equipment.
Compact DIN Rail Mount
Just 19 mm wide and 35 mm DIN rail mounted, with a meter weight of only 0.08 kg, so it takes minimal space in the enclosure.
Wide Voltage and Temperature Range
Accepts 90 to 277 Vac (L-N) and 156 to 480 Vac (L-L) at 50 / 60 Hz, operating from -25 to 65 °C.

Frequently Asked Questions
Are the current transformers included?
Yes. The kit includes three 300 A CTs, one per phase, each with a 1 m cable and a 24 mm inner diameter. You do not need to buy CTs separately.
Is this meter suitable for a single phase supply?
No. The TP-CT300 is a three phase (3P3W / 3P4W) sensor. For single phase properties you need a single phase Sigen power sensor.
What size of supply is this sensor intended for?
The included CTs are rated to 300 A per phase, with 0.5% current accuracy across 12 to 300 A. Select the CT rating to suit the incoming supply for your site.
What does the meter connect to?
It communicates over RS485 (Modbus RTU) and is designed for use with Sigenergy SigenStor systems as the grid-side meter. Check compatibility of your specific inverter or storage model with Sigenergy before ordering.
How is the TP-CT300 mounted?
It clips onto 35 mm DIN rail. At 19 mm wide and IP20 rated, it should be installed inside a suitable enclosure or distribution board by a qualified electrician.
Does the TP-CT300 need an installer?
Yes. Wiring it into the supply and fitting the CTs must be done by a competent person in accordance with BS 7671 and the manufacturer's instructions.
