The Odet carries an IP24 rating, giving protection against light water splashes, but it must not be used in a bathroom and must not be covered. If fitted in a room with a bath or shower, the radiator must be installed so that its switches and controls cannot be touched by anyone using the bath or shower.
Clearance and Fixed Installation Required
A minimum clearance of 30cm must be kept between the radiator and the floor, walls, and any nearby surfaces. This is a fixed wall-mounted appliance and must not be run from a socket connected to an external timer or switching device, and must never be covered while in use.
Ceramic Core Retention
The ceramic heating element continues releasing warmth after the thermostat switches off, smoothing out room temperature and reducing how often the element needs to fire.

What happens if the power supply is interrupted?
If power is lost and restored, the Odet returns to standby and must be switched back on manually. Time and day settings will need to be re-entered, but stored program settings are retained.
