The Reina Aron is a smart, Wi-Fi-enabled electric radiator built around a high-density ceramic core that heats up quickly and keeps radiating warmth long after the element switches off. Cast from lightweight aluminium, it pairs fan-free, low-dust radiant heat with a genuinely sophisticated control system: a built-in presence sensor automatically drops the room into a more efficient mode when nobody is around, while open window detection stops the radiator wasting energy heating a draughty room.
Available in white or black across four wattages, the Aron is controlled from an onboard LCD touch panel or remotely via the free Smart Life app, with full Google Home and Amazon Alexa compatibility for voice control. The Aron carries an IPX0 ingress protection rating, meaning it has no protection against moisture and must only be installed in dry rooms such as living rooms, bedrooms, hallways, and offices. It must not be installed in a bathroom, wet room, or anywhere near a bath, shower, or pool. For bathroom heating, choose one of our electric towel rails with an appropriate IP rating instead.
Installation Must Be Fixed and Professional
This radiator must be permanently wall-mounted by a qualified electrician in accordance with national wiring rules, and must never be plugged into a socket controlled by an external timer or switching device. It must not be positioned directly above or in front of a socket-outlet, and a minimum clearance of one metre from curtains, furniture, and other flammable materials must be maintained.
Ceramic Core Retention
The dense ceramic element stores heat and continues radiating warmth after the thermostat cycles off, so the radiator runs less often to hold the same room temperature.
Presence (Motion) Sensor
A built-in 5.8GHz motion sensor detects whether the room is occupied and automatically switches to a lower-energy mode when it is empty, with selectable 15/30/45/60-minute delays.
Open Window Detection
If room temperature drops by 2°C within 5 minutes, the radiator assumes a window is open, switches to anti-freeze mode, and pauses heating for 60 minutes before checking again.
Smart Life App & Voice Control
Full 2.4GHz Wi-Fi connectivity lets you schedule, monitor, and adjust the radiator from anywhere, with native Google Home and Amazon Alexa voice control.
Weekly 7-Day Programming

Can I install the Reina Aron in a bathroom?
No. The Aron has an IPX0 ingress protection rating, which means it is designed for dry rooms only, such as living rooms, bedrooms, hallways, and offices. It must not be installed in a bathroom, wet room, or near a bath, shower, or pool. For bathroom heating, choose one of our IP-rated electric towel rails instead.
Does the Reina Aron need to be professionally installed?
Yes. The Aron is a fixed-installation appliance and must be wall-mounted and electrically connected by a qualified electrician in accordance with national wiring rules. It should never be run from a socket controlled by an external timer or switching device.
What is the difference between Comfort, Eco, and Sensor mode?
Comfort mode heats to your chosen set-point (default 19°C). Eco mode targets a lower default of 15.5°C for energy-saving use. Sensor mode uses the built-in motion detector to automatically switch to a more efficient setting whenever the room is unoccupied, then resumes normal heating once movement is detected.
How do I connect the radiator to Wi-Fi?
Download the free Smart Life app for iOS or Android, create an account, and use Auto Scan to add the device. Enter your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network name and password, then hold the power button on the radiator to start pairing. The radiator counts down 99 seconds while it connects.
What size room will each wattage heat?
As a guide, 700W suits smaller spaces, rising through 1000W and 1500W for typical bedrooms and living rooms, up to 2000W for larger rooms of around 20m² or more. Room size, insulation, and ceiling height will all affect the ideal wattage, so use our BTU/wattage calculator if you are unsure.
