The NexBlue Zen Single Phase Current Sensor is a compact DIN rail energy monitoring device designed to support dynamic load balancing (DLB) and solar surplus EV charging. By measuring household consumption in real time, it helps compatible NexBlue EV chargers adjust charging power automatically, reducing the risk of overload while making better use of available solar generation.
Ideal for properties without a smart meter, the Zen communicates locally using Nexus RF, WiFi, Bluetooth or Ethernet. Its low profile housing, integrated terminals and included CT clamps make it a practical choice for installers specifying reliable EV charging infrastructure.
Key Features
Helps prevent household overload by allowing compatible NexBlue EV chargers to respond to real time consumption and adjust charging accordingly.
Supports smarter use of PV generation by helping the charging system identify available surplus energy.
Communicates using Nexus RF, 2.4 GHz WiFi, Bluetooth BLE 4.2, Ethernet and RS-485.
Powered directly from an 85-264 V AC supply, simplifying installation and reducing additional components.
The slim 85.8 x 27 x 66.8 mm housing is designed for straightforward DIN-rail installation in a consumer unit or enclosure.
Provides terminals for grid, solar, RS-485, LAN, WiFi and power supply connections, supporting integration with evolving energy systems.
