Built-In WiFi - Smart Compliant Without a Hub
Zappi just got better: Ethernet and built-in WiFi are integrated directly into this V2.1 unit, giving it its own internet connection out of the box. This means the charger is compliant with the UK Electric Vehicle (Smart Charge Points) Regulations as a standalone device, with no additional myenergi hub required to achieve smart functionality.
Protective Earth Conductor Switching - Installer Note
This model complies with EN IEC 61851-1 with one documented exception: clause 8.4, which prohibits switching of the protective earth conductor on permanently connected Mode 3/4 equipment, conflicts with the UK's IET Wiring Regulations (BS 7671:2018+A1:2020), which permit conductor switching under certain conditions. Per BSI guidance, installers should follow BS 7671 for the earthing arrangement on this installation.
Three Charging Modes
FAST charges at the maximum available rate regardless of source, just like a standard charging station. ECO blends surplus generation with a minimum grid top-up (up to 1.4kW) to guarantee a continuous charge. ECO+ charges only from surplus self-generated power that would otherwise be exported, pausing automatically if there isn't enough excess available.
Works With the Wider myenergi Ecosystem
The zappi integrates with other myenergi devices - including eddi and libbi - to prioritise surplus generation across the home's EV charging, hot water and battery storage, all managed and monitored remotely through the myenergi app.
Multiphase 7kW / 22kW Output
Delivers up to 7kW on a single-phase or 22kW on a three-phase supply from the same unit, with variable charging current from 6A to 32A.
Tethered Type 2 Cable & Holster
Supplied with an integral 6.5m Type 2 tethered cable and cable holster for tidy, convenient storage between charges.
Solar & Wind Compatible Smart Charging
