myenergi Current Transformer with 5m Cable (100A 16mm) – Part No: CT100-16-05 is a precision split-core CT clamp for use with myenergi zappi, eddi and harvi devices. It provides accurate current sensing for grid, solar/wind generation or specific loads, enabling eco‑smart control, export limiting and real‑time monitoring.
CT100-16-05 Key Features
- 100A rated current – suitable for typical residential and small commercial single‑phase circuits up to 100A.
- 16mm window size – split‑core clamp opening fits around conductors up to approximately 16mm in diameter (e.g. typical meter tails and main feeds).
- 5m factory-fitted cable – supplied with a 5m lead for direct connection to myenergi devices such as zappi, eddi or harvi.
- Split-core design – clips around the existing live cable without needing to disconnect or cut the conductor.
- Compatible with myenergi ecosystem – works with zappi (all versions), eddi and harvi for grid, generation or load monitoring channels.
- High accuracy – 100A:40mA CT with a typical turns ratio of 2500:1 and accuracy class around 0.5 for precise measurement.
- Extendable cable run – CT cable can be extended up to around 100m using a single twisted pair (e.g. CAT5 or telephone cable) if longer distances are required.
Typical Uses with myenergi Devices
- Grid CT – measures total import and export at the supply head to enable export‑limiting, load‑balancing and accurate energy data on zappi/eddi.
- Generation CT – monitors PV or wind inverter output to display generation and drive ECO/ECO+ modes on zappi or surplus‑diversion on eddi.
- Load CT – monitors specific circuits (e.g. immersion, EV, heat pump) to help manage demand and optimise self‑consumption.

Installation Notes
- Clamp around the correct conductor (usually live) with the arrow pointing in the direction of import or as specified for grid / generation CTs.
- Only one grid CT per phase should be installed; ensure it “sees” all import and export current (upstream of any junctions feeding loads or generation).
- Use one twisted pair of CAT5 or similar if extending the CT cable; avoid running parallel to high‑voltage cables where possible to reduce noise.
- Terminate the CT cables at any myenergi device on the network (zappi, eddi or harvi) according to the wiring diagrams in the myenergi installation manual.
