Heat Source & Connection Note
The Commercial (COM) series is immersion-heated as standard, with an optional external plate heat exchanger available across the range to connect the cylinder to a heat pump, VRF heat-recovery system, or boiler circuit. Patented Sensor Strip
A precision-level sensor strip tracks exactly how much hot water is stored and at what temperature, removing the guesswork that leads most commercial cylinders to be oversized "just in case" — reducing standing losses without risking a shortfall at peak times, at any capacity in the range.
Top-Down Volumetric Heating
Rather than reheating the full stored volume on every demand cycle, each cylinder heats only what's required, which is particularly valuable in buildings like offices and schools where occupancy and hot water demand swing sharply through the day.
Flexible Heat Source Compatibility
Works with direct electric immersion, air-source or ground-source heat pumps, VRF heat recovery, or boiler circuits via an optional plate heat exchanger — giving specifiers a single cylinder platform that can support a phased move away from gas across a whole site.
BMS Integration & DSR Revenue

Which size should I choose for my building?
Sizing depends on peak simultaneous demand, occupancy patterns, and available plant room space — the precision-level sensor strip is designed to reduce the need for oversizing "just in case," but connection sizes and immersion power step up significantly from 800L upward (1½" to 2" BSP), so larger sizes need corresponding pipework. Can this cylinder connect to a heat pump or VRF system instead of using electric immersion only?
Yes, across the whole range.
