The Livoltek iPower HES-3680 All-in-One Energy Storage System is a sleek, wall-mounted hybrid solar storage system that pairs a 3.68 kW single-phase hybrid inverter with one to five LiFePO4 (LFP) battery modules in a single unified enclosure. Starting at 5.12 kWh and scalable to 25.6 kWh by adding BLF51-5 modules, this compact all-in-one is engineered to suit smaller UK homes and low-export solar installations — delivering maximum self-consumption, emergency backup power and smart tariff management without requiring a separate inverter and battery cabinet.
With a fanless, natural-cooling design and a depth of just 165 mm, the iPower HES-3680 fits discreetly in a hallway, utility room or garage. The unit ships as a complete kit: inverter, bracket assembly, battery module(s), CT sensor, Wi-Fi/Bluetooth dongle and all connectors — everything needed to commission a working solar storage system in a single visit.
The HES-3680 accepts up to 5,520 Wp of PV array input — approximately 150% of the 3.68 kW AC output — via dual independent MPPTs each rated to 14 A. This allows strings from east and west roof faces to be tracked simultaneously, squeezing extra generation from the extended morning and afternoon periods typical of UK solar conditions.
There are no fans, no moving parts and no fan-noise in the iPower HES-3680. Passive thermal management through the enclosure surface keeps internal temperatures in check and eliminates the main mechanical failure mode found in conventional inverters. The unit operates continuously from –10°C to +55°C without derating.
The bracket system is designed for growth. Start with one 5.12 kWh BLF51-5 module and add up to four more without rewiring — simply mount, connect the power and BMS CAN cables, and the system automatically recognises and integrates the new capacity. Maximum total storage with five modules is 25.6 kWh.
Active cell balancing within the integrated BMS keeps all cells across all modules at matched voltage levels, protecting against capacity imbalance and extending cycle life beyond 6,000 cycles. Real-time temperature monitoring within each module triggers automatic protective actions if thermal limits are approached.
On detecting a grid failure, the HES-3680 switches to Emergency Power Supply (EPS) mode in under 10 milliseconds — seamless enough for most household equipment. The EPS output delivers 3.68 kVA at 220 Vac / 50 Hz as a pure sine wave, with peak headroom up to 1.5× rated power for 100 ms to handle motor start-up surges.
Programme charge and discharge windows to match tariff periods — ideal for Octopus Agile, Economy 7, Go or any multi-rate tariff. The CT sensor (included) enables precise zero-export or limited-export operation for installations where the DNO imposes a cap. All scheduling is managed through the My Livoltek app or web portal.
Inverter and battery modules share a single bracket assembly supplied in the box, presenting as one coherent unit on the wall. The slim 165 mm depth and total installed width of 415 mm keeps the footprint tight. Minimum clearances of 300 mm on all sides are required for ventilation and servicing access.
The included Wi-Fi/Bluetooth dual-function dongle connects the system to the My Livoltek cloud portal (iOS & Android app, no subscription). Homeowners see generation, consumption and battery state in real time; installers can access remote diagnostics, firmware upgrades and event logs — all from the same platform at evs.livoltek-portal.com.
