Description

Kamco SystemSafe-DM is a balanced blend of corrosion and scale inhibitors formulated to give long-term protection to central heating systems. It prevents the internal pitting, galvanic corrosion, and black iron oxide sludge that gradually reduce boiler efficiency, cause radiator cold spots, and shorten the working life of heating system components.

Formulated for multi-metal systems containing iron, steel, copper, brass, and aluminium, SystemSafe-DM has passed the Buildcert/DWTA performance classification and meets the protection requirements of BS 7593 and Part L of the Building Regulations. It disperses quickly through the system once dosed, giving effective protection even where the system has been filled with artificially softened water.

Clean the System Before Dosing

For an inhibitor to work effectively, the heating system should be thoroughly cleaned before dosing so that all internal metal surfaces are free of existing corrosion debris and available for full contact with the inhibitor. Kamco's Hyper-Flush Concentrate is designed for this pre-treatment step.

Dosage Rate

SystemSafe-DM is used at a 0.5% dosage rate (0.5 litres per 100 litres of system water). A 500ml bottle is therefore sufficient to treat a typical 100 litre heating system.
