Description

This system pairs the Samsung Mono 12kW air source heat pump (10.43kW nominal winter output) with the Joule Kodiak 200L Standard Pre-Plumbed Cylinder, giving a complete heating and hot water solution sized for medium UK homes with slightly higher hot water demand than the 170L option. The Kodiak cylinder arrives factory pre-plumbed with its zonal control manifold already fitted, cutting installation time compared with plumbing a heat pump to a standard cylinder on site.

The patented modular zonal control manifold manages 3 zones - 1 hot water and 2 heating circuits - from a single compact unit, so radiators, underfloor heating, and domestic hot water can all run to their own independent temperature settings. Built around Samsung's proven Gen 6 R32 monobloc platform, the heat pump operates down to -25°C outdoor air temperature with a 7-year warranty available on both heat pump and cylinder.

12kW is the unit's nominal summer-rated capacity. In UK winter design conditions (A7/W35), the same unit delivers 10.43kW of usable heating output, which is the figure most relevant for sizing against a property's actual winter heat loss.
