The Inta 15mm Auto Air Vent (AAV07911500B) automatically clears trapped air from sealed heating systems, so there's no need to manually bleed radiators or vent pipework by hand. Fitted at a high point in the system, it keeps working quietly in the background, releasing air as it accumulates and helping the whole system run more efficiently.

Inside, a float-operated valve mechanism does the work: as air collects inside the float chamber, the float drops and opens the valve, releasing the trapped air. Once the air has escaped, water refills the chamber and lifts the float back into its sealed position — ready to repeat the cycle automatically, for as long as the system runs.

Its compact size makes it well suited to radiator circuits, manifolds, and any point in the pipework where air commonly collects.

How does an automatic air vent work?
A float inside the vent rises and falls with the water level in the float chamber. As trapped air accumulates, the float drops and opens a small valve, releasing the air. Water then refills the chamber, lifting the float back up and sealing the valve until air builds up again.
Where should this air vent be fitted?
It should be installed at the highest point of the sealed system's pipework, where air naturally rises and collects — commonly near the boiler, heat pump, or top of a manifold.
Can it be used with heat pump glycol mixtures?
Yes. It's rated for use with water and water/glycol mixtures up to 30%, making it suitable for heat pump circuits that need anti-freeze protection.
