The Homely Wireless Temperature Node is the on-system sensor that gives a Homely-controlled heat pump its real-time room temperature, humidity and light intensity readings. This listing supplies a pair of wireless Nodes, most commonly used to add a second heating zone to an existing Homely Hub installation, or to keep a spare Node on hand for larger properties.
Each Node communicates wirelessly with the Homely Hub over an 868MHz radio link, so there's no need to run sensor cabling through walls or floors. Fitted correctly, additional Nodes let Homely apply independent temperature sensing per zone on the heat pump integrations that support dual-zone operation.

Homely's dual-zone control is supported on selected heat pump integrations only. Before installing a second Node for zone control, confirm the specific heat pump brand and model supports multi-zone operation in Homely's current compatibility documentation — otherwise the extra Node can be used as a like-for-like spare or relocated sensor rather than a true second zone.
