The Heatrae Sadia Multipoint Instantaneous 7kW is a compact, point-of-use electric water heater that delivers hot water on demand for a single shower or spray tap outlet — with no storage cylinder, cistern, or standing heat loss to worry about. Connected directly to the mains cold water supply, it heats water as it flows through, making it ideal for bedsits, garages, cloakrooms, and student or holiday accommodation where space and plumbing complexity need to be kept to a minimum.

*The manufacturer's recommended minimum flow rate is 2.5 litres/minute when multiple units are plumbed in parallel to serve higher water volumes — each heater must be individually flow-set and isolated with a restrictor capable of closing flow completely during commissioning. Actual delivered flow rate on a single unit varies with incoming mains temperature and the flow-rate adjustment set at commissioning.

Vandal-Resistant ABS Casing

Fitted with two temperature limiters — a one-shot overheat/differential-pressure cut-out and a manually-resettable over-temperature cut-out — for layered protection against overheating faults.

Can the Multipoint Instantaneous 7kW supply a shower and a tap at the same time?
No — it's designed to supply only one outlet at a time. If you need simultaneous multi-outlet hot water, a storage-type unvented cylinder such as the Multipoint Eco or Hotflo range is the better fit.
Is it compatible with a mixer shower valve?
No. Per the manufacturer's fitting instructions, it's only suitable for use with a manual shower and upriser controlled by a single outlet valve, not with mixer valves.
What's the difference between the 7kW and 9kW versions?
Both share the same casing, dimensions and safety features; the 9kW model (95050425) delivers a higher heating output (8.2–9.0kW) for a greater temperature rise at a given flow rate, useful where incoming mains water is colder or a hotter shower temperature is wanted.
Can multiple units be installed together for higher demand?
Yes, multiple heaters can be plumbed in parallel off a common cold feed manifold, with each unit individually flow-set and fitted with a restrictor able to close flow completely during commissioning. They should not be plumbed in series.
Does it need a dedicated electrical circuit?
Yes. The manufacturer specifies that the unit must be connected to its own independent electrical circuit, sized and protected in line with BS7671 IEE Wiring Regulations.
