What's the difference between the 100L Vertical and Horizontal versions?
Both share identical electrical and efficiency specifications; the difference is purely orientation and footprint. The vertical model (7694025) is 1234mm tall, while the horizontal model (7694024) is 454mm tall and 1207mm long — choose based on available wall or plant room space.
How long does the 100L take to heat from cold?
The manufacturer's rated heat-up time is 162 minutes to reach the factory-set 70°C from a cold fill, though the SMART controller will pre-empt this once it has learned your typical usage pattern.
Does this unit need a cold water tank?
No. Like all Multipoint Eco models, it's a fully unvented water heater fed directly from the mains, so no cistern or loft tank is required.
