Heatmiser Wireless Window and Door Contact Sensor
The Heatmiser Wireless Window/Door Switch is a surface-mount sensor designed to automatically enhance the efficiency of your heating system by detecting when a window or door is opened. Upon activation, it communicates with compatible Heatmiser systems—specifically, the Touch V2, Edge, and Neo System (with neoHub Gen 2)—to switch linked heating zones into standby mode, minimising heat loss and conserving energy. When the window or door is closed, the heating system returns to its previous status.
- Compatibility: Pairs directly with Touch V2 and Edge thermostats; with the Neo System, pairing is via the neoHub Gen 2 and can be assigned to one or more zones
- Zone Linking: Supports multiple sensors per installation, allowing comprehensive zonal control for larger homes or commercial properties
- Open/Close Delay: Configurable delay for open/close events via the app for flexible operation
- Communication Range: Up to 40 metres open space
- RF Frequency: 868 MHz
- IP Rating: IP20
- Sensor weight (inc. battery): 25g; Magnetic contactor: 34g
- Mounting: Surface mount; attach sensor to the frame and magnet to the window or door (within 5mm)
- Battery: Included (replaceable)
- LED Indicator: For pairing and status
Important: For Neo integration, the wireless sensor requires neoHub Gen 2 (look for “2nd generation” on the hub). The sensor communicates directly with neoHub Gen 2 and does not use the system’s mesh network, so neoPlug or Boost units may be needed for signal coverage in larger properties. The sensor is not compatible with Apple HomeKit, Google Home, or Alexa. Up to 16 sensors can be paired with a single
