The Heatmiser Wireless Air Sensor is a compact, battery-powered temperature sensor that adds accurate remote room monitoring to a Heatmiser heating system. It works with the Touch V2 and Edge thermostats, pairing directly, and with the Neo System via a neoHub Gen 2, giving installers and homeowners a flexible way to extend accurate temperature control into any room.
The sensor can be used standalone to simply monitor the temperature in another part of the property, or paired to a zone so its reading is averaged with — or replaces — a thermostat's built-in sensor. This makes it especially useful in large or open-plan rooms, where a single thermostat sensor alone may not reflect the true temperature across the whole space.

Please Note
For use with the Neo System, this sensor requires a neoHub (Gen 2 or the current neoHub G3) — earlier neoHub generations are not compatible. The sensor pairs directly to the neoHub and does not benefit from Heatmiser's mesh network, so a neoPlug or Boost signal repeater may be needed for reliable operation in larger properties. The sensor is not compatible with Apple HomeKit.
Accurate Remote Monitoring
Places a dedicated temperature sensor exactly where it's needed, rather than relying solely on the thermostat's built-in sensor.
Two Flexible Modes
Run in simple Monitoring mode to check another room, or Pair to Zone to feed readings directly into a thermostat's control logic.
Averaging or Remote-Only Control
Choose to average the sensor with the thermostat's internal sensor, or switch the internal sensor off and use the remote sensor exclusively.
Wide Wireless Range
Delivers a reliable 868MHz signal over up to 40 metres of open space between sensor and receiver.
Compact, Discreet Design
At just 40 x 40 x 11mm and 16g, the sensor mounts unobtrusively to any wall or surface.
Simple Battery Installation
Supplied with a pre-installed battery and a printed installation guide for quick setup.

Good to Know
Heatmiser recommends a limit of two wireless air sensors per zone when averaging readings, to keep response times and accuracy consistent.

Frequently Asked Questions
What thermostats and systems does this sensor work with?
The Heatmiser Wireless Air Sensor pairs directly with the Touch V2 and Edge thermostats. For the Neo System (including neoStat and neoAir models), it pairs to a neoHub G3 (our current hub) or a neoHub Gen 2 using the Heatmiser Android or iOS app; earlier neoHub generations do not support wireless sensors.
What is the difference between Monitoring mode and Pair to Zone?
Monitoring simply lets you read the temperature in another area without affecting heating control. Pair to Zone links the sensor to a specific zone's thermostat, where you can then choose to average its reading with the thermostat's internal sensor, or use the remote sensor as the sole temperature input for that zone.
How many wireless air sensors can I use in one zone?
Heatmiser recommends a maximum of two wireless air sensors per zone when using averaged readings, to maintain consistent accuracy and response.
Do I need any additional hardware for a Neo System installation?
You will need a neoHub – either our current neoHub G3 or a neoHub Gen 2 – as earlier hub generations do not support wireless sensors. In larger properties, a neoPlug or Boost signal repeater may also be required, since the sensor pairs directly to the hub rather than through Heatmiser's mesh network.
Is this sensor compatible with Apple HomeKit?
No. The Heatmiser Wireless Air Sensor is not compatible with Apple HomeKit.
What's included in the box?
Each sensor is supplied with a pre-installed battery and a printed installation guide, ready for surface mounting.
