The Heatmiser UH8-RF v2 is an advanced 8-zone wireless wiring centre, purpose-built for use with Heatmiser RF thermostats such as the Slimline-RF v3 and neoAir v3. It provides centralised switching for both underfloor heating and radiator circuits, making it well suited to multi-zone smart home or commercial heating installations where wiring a thermostat back to the wiring centre isn't practical.
Each of the eight zones is individually configurable as underfloor heating or radiator, and the unit includes a dedicated hot water cylinder output alongside volt-free boiler and pump connections. Where direct wiring to the boiler isn't possible, the UH8-RF v2 can send a wireless signal to the RF Switch v2 for a fully wireless installation.

Where a direct wired connection to the boiler is impractical, the UH8-RF v2 can send a radio signal to the RF Switch v2 for boiler activation, enabling a fully wireless zone control setup.
Qualified Installation Required
This is a mains-voltage (230V AC) wiring centre. Installation and wiring must be carried out by a qualified electrician or heating engineer in accordance with current UK wiring regulations.
RF Thermostat Compatibility
The UH8-RF v2 is compatible with Heatmiser RF thermostats such as the Slimline-RF v3 and neoAir v3. In challenging wireless environments (for example metal consumer unit enclosures), an external aerial option is available to improve signal reliability.

How many zones does the UH8-RF v2 support, and can they be radiators?
It supports up to 8 zones, and each one can be individually configured as either an underfloor heating zone or a radiator zone. Zones set as radiators do not activate the underfloor heating pump or valve.
Do I need to wire the thermostats back to the wiring centre?
No. The UH8-RF v2 communicates wirelessly with compatible RF thermostats such as the Slimline-RF v3 and neoAir v3, so no thermostat cabling is required.
Can this unit control the boiler wirelessly too?
Yes. Where wiring to the boiler isn't practical, the UH8-RF v2 can send a wireless signal to the RF Switch v2 to control the boiler, enabling a fully wireless setup.
