The Heatmiser neoHub Mini HW Bundle is a complete WiFi smart control kit for heating and hot water in smaller homes. It brings together 1 × neoAir v3 smart thermostat, 1 × neoAir Stand and 1 × neoHub Mini HW, a compact 3-output wireless receiver and WiFi hub in a single unit.
Designed for 1 or 2 heating zones plus a hot water cylinder, the hub links to your router over 2.4 GHz WiFi and to the neoAir v3 over 868 MHz radio. Control everything from the free neoApp on iOS or Android, or by voice through Alexa, Google Home and IFTTT. Three volt-free outputs rated at 230 V AC, 3 A switch conventional and condensing boilers, plus air and ground source heat pumps with a dry-contact call for heat.
Because the neoAir v3 is battery powered and wireless, it suits homes with no existing wired thermostat. Fix it to the wall with its back plate, or stand it on a shelf or table using the included neoAir Stand.

Installation and safety
The neoHub Mini HW is a 230 V AC mains-powered unit wired into the boiler and cylinder control circuit. It must be installed by a competent electrician or heating engineer in line with BS 7671. Isolate the supply before opening the unit.
Not for electric underfloor heating
The manufacturer states the neoAir v3 must not be used to control electric underfloor heating. A floor probe on the neoAir v3 is intended only as a floor temperature limiter on suitable systems.
How hot water and zones are allocated
Hot water is controlled by the same neoAir v3 that controls heating zone 1 (CH1), set to Mode 3. The hot water output pairs automatically at the same time. A second heating zone needs an additional neoAir v3 (sold separately) set to Mode 1 and paired to CH2. Resetting the HW output also removes the thermostat paired to the heating output.
Compatibility notes
Apple HomeKit is not supported; smart home control is via Alexa, Google Home and IFTTT. neoAir V1 and V2 are not compatible with the neoHub Mini, so neoAir V2-M or later is required. The neoPlug repeater is not compatible with the neoHub Mini HW; use a Heatmiser Boost repeater to extend range.
Key features
3-output wireless receiver
CH1, CH2 and HW volt-free outputs switch up to 230 V AC at 3 A each. The HW output also offers NC and NO contacts. Front-panel buttons give a manual override on each output.
Built-in WiFi hub
Connects to your 2.4 GHz router with an integrated aerial. No separate gateway, no subscription, and multiple locations can sit under one account.
neoAir v3 smart thermostat
Touch keys and LCD display, powered by 4 × AAA batteries (supplied). Choose non-programmable, weekday/weekend, 7 day or 24 hour programming.
Smart scheduling and comfort
Optimum start (up to 5 hours), smart profiles shared across rooms, geo-location at room level, away mode, holiday mode and timed hold and hot water boost.
Alerts and security
Push notifications for high or low temperature limits and low battery. PIN lock on each neoAir v3, plus automatic clock sync from the internet.
Always updated
Receives new features and security updates automatically, with a minimum 5-year security update commitment. Meets the Boiler Plus energy-saving standard.

Frequently asked questions
What is included in this bundle?
One neoAir v3 smart thermostat (batteries supplied), one neoAir Stand and one neoHub Mini HW. Wiring, boiler and cylinder controls are not included.
Can I control heating and hot water together?
Yes. Set the neoAir v3 to Mode 3 and pair it to the CH1 output. The hot water output pairs automatically at the same time, and a hot water boost timer is available from the thermostat.
Can I add a second heating zone?
Yes. Add a second neoAir v3 in Mode 1 and pair it to the CH2 output. Hot water stays with the neoAir v3 on CH1.
Which boilers and heat pumps does it work with?
The volt-free outputs suit conventional and condensing boilers and air and ground source heat pumps that accept a dry-contact call for heat. This hub does not provide OpenTherm modulation, so check the appliance wiring requirements before ordering.
Do I need a repeater in a larger home?
The neoAir v3 does not relay signals between thermostats. To extend the wireless range, add a Heatmiser Boost repeater. The neoPlug is not compatible with the neoHub Mini HW.
Is there a subscription, and what about voice control?
No subscription is needed for the neoApp. Voice and smart home control work with Alexa, Google Home and IFTTT. Apple HomeKit is not supported.
