The Heatmiser neoAir v3 is a programmable, battery-powered wireless thermostat, designed to work with the RF Switch v2, UH8-RF v2 and neoHub Mini wireless receivers. Its battery-powered design means there's no need for a wired thermostat position, making it ideal for retrofits, extensions or any room where running new cabling isn't practical.
When paired to the neoHub, the neoAir v3 joins a wireless Mesh network that extends range and reliability well beyond traditional point-to-point RF systems, and unlocks app-based control, scheduling and self-learning features from anywhere. It supports heating, hot water, or combined heating and hot water modes depending on the system it's paired with.

neoHub Required for App Control
A neoHub (sold separately) is required to unlock app-based control, remote scheduling and Mesh networking between neoAir and neoStat devices. Choose the appropriate neoHub model (Mini OT, Mini HW, or G3) based on the number of zones and boiler type.
Wireless Mesh Networking
The neoAir v3 communicates with the neoHub via wireless Mesh technology, using mains-powered neoStat devices in the system as signal repeaters, significantly improving range and reliability compared with traditional point-to-point RF systems.
Compatible Receivers Required
The neoAir v3 must be paired with a compatible receiver - the RF Switch v2, UH8-RF v2 or neoHub Mini - to control the heating system. Installation and pairing should be carried out by a qualified heating engineer.
Battery-Powered Flexibility
Runs on 4 x AAA batteries, allowing flexible thermostat placement anywhere in the home without new wiring.
Self Learning Preheat
Self Learning Preheat technology calculates the optimal heat-up time to ensure the home is warm when needed, automatically adjusting throughout the year.
Flexible Programming Modes
Choose from non-programmable, weekday/weekend, all days different, or all days the same scheduling modes to match household routines.
Heating, Hot Water or Combined Mode
Supports heating mode, hot water mode, or combined heating and hot water mode depending on the system it's paired with.
Holiday Mode & Frost Protection
Holiday mode maintains a lower background temperature while away, and frost protection safeguards pipework in cold weather.
Remote & Floor Sensing Options
Supports connection to a remote air sensor or floor sensor, giving precise control for underfloor heating or larger rooms.

Do I need a neoHub to use the neoAir v3?
For app-based control, remote scheduling and Mesh networking, yes - a neoHub is required and sold separately. Without one, the neoAir still pairs to a compatible receiver for local thermostat control.
What receivers is the neoAir v3 compatible with?
It's designed to work with the RF Switch v2, UH8-RF v2, or neoHub Mini wireless receivers.
What batteries does it use?
The neoAir v3 runs on 4 x AAA alkaline batteries (maximum 1.5V). 1.2V rechargeable batteries can also be used, though the low battery symbol may appear prematurely with rechargeables.
Can this thermostat control hot water as well as heating?
Yes, it supports heating mode, hot water mode, or combined heating and hot water mode, depending on how the receiver and system are configured.
What is Mesh networking and why does it matter?
Mesh networking means the neoAir v3 communicates with the neoHub via other mains-powered neoStat devices acting as signal repeaters, giving significantly better range and reliability than traditional single-hop RF systems.
Can I use a remote sensor with the neoAir v3?
Yes, it supports connection to a remote air sensor or remote floor sensor (sold separately) for more precise or flexible temperature measurement.
