The Heatmiser Boost v2 is a surface-mount signal repeater that extends the wireless range of a Heatmiser Neo or RF Series smart heating system. Weak signal in a large home, a multi-storey property, or a building with thick walls and long corridors is one of the most common causes of unreliable thermostats and dropped connections — the Boost v2 solves this by picking up and re-transmitting both RF and Neo mesh data, giving thermostats, wiring centres, and hubs a stronger, more consistent link across a wider footprint.
It needs no device pairing on Wireless Series (RF) systems — connect the 230V supply and it starts repeating automatically. On a neoHub Mesh system, it is added once through the Heatmiser app (Manage Zones > Add Repeater) and any neoStat relying on it for hub communication must be paired after the Boost v2 itself.

No pairing needed on RF systems: On a Wireless Series (Slimline RF v3, UH8-RF v2) installation, the Boost v2 does not pair to anything — it only needs a 230V power feed and it begins repeating signals it detects.
Neo systems must pair in the correct order: On a neoHub Mesh system, add the Boost v2 to the hub first via the app before pairing any neoStat, neoAir v3, or other device that depends on it for range.
Electrical installation: This is a mains-voltage (230V AC) accessory wired to Live, Neutral, and Earth on a fused 3A supply. Installation should be carried out by a competent person in accordance with BS 7671 wiring regulations.
Dual Signal Repeating
Detects and re-transmits both RF and Neo mesh data, so one repeater covers both legacy Wireless Series thermostats and current-generation Neo devices on the same site.
Zero-Configuration on RF
No pairing required for Wireless Series systems — power it up and it automatically boosts any signal it detects, cutting install time.
Broad Compatibility
Works with Slimline RF v3, UH8-RF v2, neoHub Gen 3, neoHub Mini, neoStat, neoAir v3, and RF Switch v2, covering both current and legacy Heatmiser ranges.
Surface-Mount Fitting
Compact 108 x 90 x 24mm enclosure separates front cover from back plate for straightforward wall fixing and cable termination.
Status LEDs
Dedicated RF repeater (RX/TX/Comms), Mesh repeater (Link), and power status LEDs make commissioning and fault-finding straightforward on site.
One-Button Factory Reset
Hold the connect button for 10 seconds until the red LED flashes, then release, to fully reset the unit without opening the enclosure further.

Do I need to pair the Boost v2 to my thermostats?
It depends on the system. On a Wireless Series (RF) system, no pairing is needed at all — it only requires a 230V supply and starts repeating automatically. On a neoHub Mesh system, the Boost v2 is added once via the app, and it must be paired before any neoStat or neoAir v3 that depends on it for range.
Which Heatmiser products is the Boost v2 compatible with?
The Boost v2 is compatible with Slimline RF v3, UH8-RF v2, neoHub Gen 3, neoHub Mini, neoStat, neoAir v3, and RF Switch v2, covering both the current Neo range and the legacy 868MHz Wireless Series.
How is the Boost v2 wired?
It requires a 230V AC Live and Neutral supply on a 3A fused circuit. There is no signal cable to run — it is a standalone mains-powered accessory that only needs power to operate.
How do I factory reset the Boost v2?
Press and hold the connect button for 10 seconds until the red LED starts flashing, then release. Once the LED stops flashing, the reset is complete.
Can the Boost v2 be used outdoors or in a bathroom?
No. It carries an IP20 rating, meaning it is designed for dry indoor locations only, such as a hallway or utility cupboard, and should not be fitted outdoors or in areas exposed to moisture.
