Description

The Grundfos UPS2 32-80 180 is a high-efficiency circulator pump with a permanent magnet ECM motor for domestic heating. It delivers up to 8 m head and is designed as a like-for-like replacement for older UPS circulators, with an EEI of 0.23 or lower that meets ErP requirements.

A single push-button selects three proportional-pressure curves or three fixed speeds, and no external motor protection is required. It suits one- and two-pipe radiator systems, underfloor heating loops and larger domestic or light commercial systems.

Like-for-like replacement

The UPS2 is Grundfos's replacement for older UPS circulators, with new motor technology and hydraulics. Match the 180 mm port-to-port length and G 2 thread to the pump you are replacing.

Check before you order

This model is a DN 32 pump with G 2 threaded ports. Confirm the thread size of your existing pump and whether union or valve kits are needed. The pump must be fitted with a horizontal motor shaft and cannot vent the system.

Safety

Isolate the electrical supply and let the system cool before work. Do not start the pump until the system is filled and vented. Electrical connection must be carried out by a competent person in line with BS 7671.
