Description

The Fastensol 3550mm Silver Rail is the core structural component of the Fastensol mounting system, forming the horizontal support onto which solar panels are clamped. Manufactured from aluminium, it is supported by roof hooks at intervals of no more than 1.2m, with a pair of rails run horizontally per row of panels — spaced at roughly three-quarters of the panel height apart.

The rail is suitable for both pitched and flat roofs, and is compatible with tiled, slate, and sheet metal roof coverings via the appropriate roof hooks. Panels are laid across the rails and secured using end and mid clamps, and multiple lengths of rail can be joined using rail splice kits for longer rows.
