It covers spaces up to 58 m² (160 m³) and combines cooling, heating, and dehumidification in a single wheeled unit that moves between rooms with ease. Control is fully flexible: onboard panel, included remote handset, or the Eurom Smart App via Wi-Fi — with a 24-hour programmable timer so you can pre-cool or pre-heat before you arrive. Built on eco-friendly R290 refrigerant with an Energy Class A rating and an IP24 splash-resistant rating for use in kitchens and utility rooms.

ℹ Installation — This is a single-unit portable AC with an exhaust hose. The hose must be routed to a window or suitable vent to expel hot air during cooling operation. For best efficiency, seal the gap around the hose where it exits the window. No permanent installation or F-Gas certification is required.

What size room is 18,000 BTU suitable for?
Eurom rates this unit for rooms up to 58 m² (160 m³) at a 2.75 m ceiling height — that's equivalent to a large open-plan living room or kitchen-diner. In practice, cooling effectiveness also depends on insulation, window area, sun exposure, and how many people and heat-generating appliances are in the space. For a UK semi-detached living room (around 20–25 m²), this unit will cool very rapidly. For a large office or open-plan space up to 50 m², it will maintain comfortable temperatures on all but the hottest days.
Does it heat as well as cool?
Yes — the unit includes a 16,000 BTU heat pump heating mode, making it a genuine year-round climate control solution rather than a cooling-only unit. It can function as a supplementary heat source in transitional seasons without the running costs of electric resistance heating, since it moves heat rather than generating it directly.
How does the exhaust hose work?
During cooling, the unit extracts heat from the room air and must expel that heat outside. The included exhaust hose connects to the rear of the unit and routes to a window or external vent. Most users fit the hose through a slightly open window or use a purpose-made window kit (sold separately from most AC suppliers) to fill the gap and prevent warm outside air re-entering. In heating mode, the exhaust hose is not in use — the unit circulates internal air only.
Is it suitable for use in a kitchen?
Yes — the IP24 splash-resistant rating makes it safe for use in kitchens and other damp indoor environments where occasional water splashes may occur. It is not intended for outdoor or wet-room use. The washable fabric filter also helps deal with cooking particulates, though it should be cleaned regularly in a kitchen environment to maintain efficiency.
