Installer Note: Cut pipe square and clean using a rotary pipe cutter — a hacksaw leaves a ragged edge that will prevent correct olive seating. Always fit the pipe support insert inside the pipe bore before tightening the compression nut. Without the insert the pipe wall will collapse under the olive, resulting in a failed joint. Tighten to a firm hand-stop then a further ¾ to 1 full turn with a spanner only — do not over-torque.
Size Selection — Critical: The three variants are not interchangeable. Verify your pipe's outside diameter (OD) and wall thickness before ordering — pipe markings typically show OD × wall (e.g. "15×2"). Fitting a larger pipe into a smaller Euroconus will produce an incomplete compression and a potential leak under pressure.
Quantity Guide: Each pack contains two fittings — enough for one complete heating loop (one connection to the flow rail, one to the return rail). For a 6-loop manifold, order 6 packs. Match packs to your total circuit count.

No Sealant Required
The Euroconus joint is entirely mechanical — the compressed olive forms the seal against the pipe and the manifold port seat. No PTFE tape, thread sealant, or jointing compound should be applied: doing so can interfere with correct olive seating and reduce joint reliability.

The pipe support insert is specifically profiled to support the composite wall — which includes an aluminium oxygen-barrier layer — preventing it from collapsing under the olive during compression. This is why fitting the insert is mandatory and must not be omitted.
Do these fit the ZL-117502 to ZL-117512 stainless steel manifolds?
Yes — the ZL-1039 series connects directly to the ¾" Euroconus circuit ports on the ZL-117502 to ZL-117512 manifold range. No adapter or conversion fitting is required. Simply insert the pipe (with support insert in place), slide the compression nut over the pipe end, thread it into the manifold port, and tighten to the specified torque.
Is PTFE tape or sealant needed on the thread?
No — do not apply PTFE tape or thread sealant to a Euroconus connection. The joint is sealed entirely by the mechanical compression of the olive against the pipe outer surface and the manifold port seat. Adding sealant can prevent the olive from seating correctly and may actually reduce joint integrity rather than improve it.
