The EPH Controls EMBERTS21 is a complete wireless smart thermostat kit for two-zone heating or heating plus hot water control. It pairs a RFRP-TW programmable RF touch thermostat with an RF2B twin-channel receiver and the latest GW04-V2 dual-band Wi-Fi gateway, so you can manage your system from the wall or from anywhere using the EMBER app on iOS and Android.
Zone 1 gives you full time and temperature control, while Zone 2 provides a convenient secondary timed output that can switch a hot water cylinder or a second heating zone. The thermostat is pre-paired to Zone 1 of the receiver, which keeps installation quick and simple for the installer and easy to operate for the homeowner. The kit carries a 5 year warranty and CE and UKCA marking.

How the two zones work
Zone 1 operates on both time and temperature, so you set target temperatures for each program. Zone 2 is time-controlled only (on or off), and can be used for heating or hot water depending on your system set-up.
OpenTherm® compatibility
OpenTherm® can only be used on the RF2B when two RF thermostats are connected to it. This kit includes one RFRP-TW thermostat, so a second compatible RF thermostat is required for OpenTherm® operation.
Installation safety
Installation and connection must be carried out by a qualified person. Isolate the receiver from the mains before installation and protect the circuit with a 250V~ 6A Type C MCB (IEC 60898-1) and a suitable fuse or circuit breaker.

Thermostat Highlights
The RFRP-TW measures room temperature with its internal sensor and includes frost protection (default 5°C, adjustable 5 to 15°C), keypad lock and PIN lock to prevent unwanted changes. It can be wall mounted or placed on the included table stand, and runs on 4 x AAA alkaline batteries with a low battery warning on the display and in the EMBER app. An NTC10K plug sensor (sold separately) allows remote air or floor temperature sensing with a floor high limit.
