The EHC DSR Visage is a slimline electric panel heater built for spaces where wall depth is at a premium. A fast-acting aluminium heating element delivers immediate convected warmth, while patented Magmatic ceramic tablets inside the heater store that heat and continue releasing it after the element stops drawing power, giving a balanced mix of radiant and convected comfort.
A front-mounted DSR digital controller gives full manual control over time and temperature straight away, while the optional Wi-Fi Smart App Gateway adds remote scheduling, geo-location, energy usage statistics, and Amazon Alexa voice control. Rated IP24, the Visage is one of the few panel heaters in this range suitable for bathrooms and other wet areas, and includes open window detection to avoid heating a room that has been left open to the cold.

Suitable for Bathrooms
Unlike EHC's standard heat retention radiators, the Visage carries an IP24 rating, giving protection against splashing water from any direction. This makes it suitable for installation in bathrooms and other wet areas, in addition to living rooms, bedrooms, and hallways.
App and Alexa Control Needs the Optional Gateway
The DSR controller on the front of the heater gives full manual control over time and temperature out of the box. Wi-Fi app scheduling, geo-location, and Amazon Alexa voice control all require the separately purchased EHC Smart App Gateway.
Dual Heat Technology
A fast-acting aluminium element provides immediate convected warmth while heating the internal Magmatic ceramic tablets, which then continue radiating heat after the element switches off.
Front-Mounted DSR Controller
A digital control panel on the front of the heater gives manual access to time and temperature settings without needing an app.
Open Window Detection
If the room temperature drops sharply in a short period, the heater automatically switches off to avoid wasting energy heating a room with a window left open.
Slimline, Removable Design
At just 68mm deep, the Visage sits close to the wall via a quick-fit wall bracket, and can be lifted off easily for cleaning or redecorating.
Twin Overheat Protection
All internal contacts are protected with heat-shrink insulated sleeves, and twin thermocouples provide overheat protection for added safety.
Plug-and-Play or Hardwired
Supplied with 1.5m of cable and a UK three-pin plug for immediate use, or can be spur-wired for a permanent fixed installation.

Can the DSR Visage be installed in a bathroom?
Yes. The Visage carries an IP24 rating, giving protection against water splashing from any direction, which makes it suitable for bathrooms and other wet areas as well as standard living spaces.
Do I need the Smart Gateway to use this heater?
No. The front-mounted DSR controller gives full manual control over time and temperature straight away. The optional Smart App Gateway adds Wi-Fi app scheduling, geo-location, energy statistics, and Amazon Alexa voice control.
How is this different from EHC's standard heat retention radiators?
The Visage is a slimline panel heater at just 68mm deep, using an aluminium element paired with Magmatic ceramic tablets for a fast-acting convected heat with radiant heat retention. EHC's standard heat retention radiators are deeper units built purely around the Magmatic ceramic core with a 50/50 radiant-to-convected split.
What does open window detection do?
If the room's temperature drops sharply within a short period, typically because a window has been opened, the heater automatically switches off to avoid wasting energy, then resumes normal operation once conditions stabilise.
What size heater do I need for my room?
As a guide, the 1000W model suits rooms up to around 10m², rising through 1200W and 1500W to the 2000W model for rooms up to around 20m². Room size, insulation, and ceiling height will all affect the ideal wattage, so use our BTU calculator if you're unsure.
