Description

The EcoFlow PowerPulse 2 7kW EV Charger is a smart, wall-mounted, single-phase home charger with a Type 2 socket (untethered), delivering up to 7 kW at 32 A. It is built around solar-first smart charging: it can prioritise surplus solar generation, follow dynamic or time-of-use tariffs, and balance load in real time so your car charges at the right speed without overloading the circuit.

Choose from Smart, Fast, Scheduled and Solar charging modes, start a session simply by plugging in, tapping an RFID card or using the EcoFlow app, and keep an eye on progress on the built-in LCD display. It integrates natively with EcoFlow PowerOcean systems, supports third-party solar, and speaks OCPP 1.6-J and Modbus-RTU for open integration. Safety and installation

Installation must be carried out by a qualified electrician in accordance with BS 7671 and the EcoFlow installation guide. An external RCCB is required (Type A or Type B according to local regulations), and the supply must be a TN or TT earthing arrangement. The UK version provides earthing protection in line with BS 7671:2018+A2-2022. The charger accepts cable up to 10 mm2.

Charging cable not included

This is an untethered charger, so it has a Type 2 socket and no fixed cable. You will need a Type 2 charging cable to connect it to your vehicle. EcoFlow offers a 7.5 m cable designed for the PowerPulse 2, sold separately.

Solar and tariff features

Solar Mode works with an EcoFlow PowerOcean system or a third-party solar installation, and the Smart Mode tariff features depend on a supported dynamic tariff provider. EcoFlow lists Octopus Energy among its supported providers, but availability varies by country, so confirm your tariff and solar set-up with the installer before ordering.
