Description

The Easee Charge (10243) is a compact, smart untethered EV charger built for commercial charging at workplaces, apartment blocks, car parks and fleet depots. It charges on single or three phase, delivering up to 7.4 kW on single phase and up to 22 kW on three-phase TN through a standard Type 2 socket, with a clean black finish and a body weighing just 1.5 kg.

Built for scale, Easee Charge supports an unlimited number of chargers per site with load and phase balancing that keeps working even offline, an automatic queuing system for fair sharing, and daisy-chain wiring that cuts installation cost. Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, built-in LTE Cat M1 and OCPP 1.6J let you manage the site through Easee Control or a third-party platform, while an integrated energy meter (±2%) and RFID/NFC access control keep usage visible and secure.

Electrical safety and regulations

Installation must be carried out by a competent electrician in line with BS 7671, the IET Code of Practice for EV Charging Equipment Installation and, for domestic premises, Part P.

Cable and energy balancing

The charger is untethered and sold without a charging cable. Automatic current adjustment and phase balancing against the building’s total load require an Easee Equalizer. For MID-certified billing readings, see the Easee Charge Max (small sites) or Charge Pro (large sites).

Easee Charge is rated up to 22 kW. The actual rate depends on your supply: 1.4 to 7.4 kW on single phase, 4.1 to 22 kW on three-phase TN and 2.4 to 12.7 kW on three-phase IT.

Is the charging cable included?

No. Easee Charge is untethered with a Type 2 socket. Add a Type 2 cable separately and, if you wish, lock it permanently into the charger.

What charging speed will I get?

Up to 7.4 kW on single phase and up to 22 kW on three-phase TN, provided your supply, installation and vehicle allow it.

How many chargers can I connect on one site?

An unlimited number per site, with load balancing for up to 101 chargers on one circuit. Balancing runs locally between the chargers, even without an internet connection.

Do I need an Easee Equalizer?

Only to balance charging against the whole building’s consumption and adjust speed automatically to available current. Balancing between Easee chargers works without it.

Can it be used with a management or payment platform?

Yes. OCPP 1.6J and the Easee Control portal support integration with compatible management and payment systems.

Can I mount it on a post?

Yes. Easee Charge is compatible with the Easee Base charging post, which suits car parks and driveways where wall mounting is not possible.
