Installation Overview

Boards must be acclimatised in the installation room for at least 48 hours at above 18°C before fitting to ensure optimal adhesion and performance
A polythene moisture barrier (minimum 200 micron thickness) should be laid over the subfloor before installation to prevent moisture ingress and protect the adhesive layers
Baseboards are laid first with the protective plastic film facing upwards and cut to fit as needed; film is only removed after trimming is completed to protect adhesive
Top boards are placed adhesive side down, overlapping the baseboard joints to create a strong, stable surface with staggered edges
Boards can be tapped into place with a rubber mallet to secure the bond, but should be positioned accurately as the adhesive bond is permanent
Floor heating system must be switched off during installation and only reactivated once any finishing adhesives or floor fixings have fully cured
Floor sensor installation groove is provided in the top board layer for accurate temperature control of heating systems
