The Wiser Remote Floor Sensor is a temperature probe designed to pair with the Wiser Electrical Heat Switch and a Smart Room Thermostat, bringing smart, app-controlled scheduling to a single zone of electric underfloor heating.

Fitted beneath the floor covering, the sensor continuously monitors floor temperature and feeds this back to the Electrical Heat Switch, helping prevent overheating of the floor build-up while the connected Smart Room Thermostat or the Wiser Home app manages the heating schedule.

⚠ Important Safety Information: This sensor requires a Wiser Electrical Heat Switch, a Smart Room Thermostat, and a Wiser Hub R to operate — it cannot function as a standalone device. Confirm these are already part of your system, or ordered alongside, before installation.

ℹ Good to Know: The 4-metre cable gives flexible placement beneath the floor surface, letting installers position the sensing element at the most representative point of the heated zone rather than close to the manifold or wiring centre.

Overheat Protection
Continuous floor temperature monitoring lets the Wiser Electrical Heat Switch cut power before floor coverings such as wood or vinyl are put at risk from excessive heat.
Single-Zone Smart Control
Paired with a Smart Room Thermostat, the sensor enables one zone of electric underfloor heating to be scheduled, adjusted, and monitored through the touch interface or the Wiser Home app.
Remote & Voice Control
Once integrated into the Wiser system via Hub R, the zone can be controlled from anywhere using the app or compatible voice assistants.
Generous Cable Run
A 4-metre cable provides enough reach to route from the floor build-up back to the Electrical Heat Switch without extending or splicing in most single-room installations.
