The Drayton TRV4 Chrome 15mm Angled TRV & Lockshield Pack (MPN 07 05 174) is a fully chrome-matched radiator valve pair for premium and designer heating installations. The pack combines a 15mm angled TRV4 body with chrome liquid-filled sensing head and a matching chrome lockshield — creating a consistent all-chrome finish suited to exposed pipework, bathroom heated towel rails, period-style interiors, and chrome column radiators. The TRV4 Chrome carries the TELL Class I energy efficiency rating, the same as the Classic variant, and is approved to BS EN 215.

Does TRV4 Chrome carry the same Class I rating as Classic?

Yes — unlike TRV4 Anthracite, the TRV4 Chrome carries the full TELL Class I energy efficiency certification, the same as TRV4 Classic and White.

Can I buy just the chrome sensing head to retrofit onto an existing TRV4 body?

Yes — MPN 07 03 013 is the TRV4 Chrome sensing head sold separately. It fits all TRV4 valve bodies (not TRV3).

What is the difference between 07 05 174 and 07 05 150C?

07 05 174 is the complete chrome pack including both the chrome TRV and a matching chrome lockshield. 07 05 150C is the chrome TRV body and head sold individually (no lockshield).

Is this pack appropriate for a heated towel rail?

Yes — the chrome finish is ideal for bathroom towel rails. Ensure the towel rail's radiator connections are standard ½" BSP female. Also check that the towel rail is correctly sized for the room heat load, as TRVs cannot compensate for an undersized emitter.

Is there a straight-body chrome pack?

Yes — MPN 07 05 175 is the straight 15mm chrome TRV and chrome lockshield pack for inline pipe configurations.
