The Dektite Solardek NuLead Solar Flashing (Grey) is a purpose-made roof flashing designed for sealing solar thermal pipes and cables where they pass through tile or slate roofing. Built around the flexible Nu-Lead® acrylic-coated base, it moulds closely to the roof profile to create a complete weatherproof seal without staining or corroding the roof covering.
This grey silicone version is engineered specifically for high-temperature solar thermal applications, with a cone rated to withstand constant roofline temperatures well beyond what standard EPDM flashings can handle. It represents a purpose-made durable solution, as required by MCS, for professional solar thermal installations.

Good to Know
This is a speciality flashing for tile and slate roofs only. A separate range of Dektite Premium flashings is available for metal roof installations and should not be substituted on tile or slate.
Nu-Lead® Acrylic-Coated Base
A flexible, mouldable base that conforms closely to tile and slate roof profiles without staining or corroding the roof.
Grey Silicone Cone
Purpose-selected for solar thermal pipe sizes, offering long service life under sustained high-temperature exposure.
High-Temperature Rated
Withstands constant roofline temperatures of 50°C to 200°C, and up to 250°C intermittently.
Wide Roof Pitch Compatibility
Suitable for roof pitches from 0° to 45°, covering the majority of UK tile and slate roof installations.
Complete Weatherproof Seal
Provides full weather protection for solar thermal pipes and cables passing through the roof structure.

Please Note
These SolarDek and Dektite Multicable variants share the same 410 x 490mm Nu-Lead® base platform but differ in cone material and penetration capacity. DNLS200MPG is the higher-capacity grey silicone version of DNLS200G, purpose-built for installations requiring two pipe penetrations through a single flashing. Confirm the correct code for your project before ordering.
What roof types is this flashing suitable for?
This SolarDek NuLead flashing is designed specifically for tile and slate roofs. For metal roof installations, a Dektite Premium flashing should be used instead.
What is the difference between DNLS200MPG and DNLS200G?
DNLS200G is designed for a single pipe penetration, while DNLS200MPG accommodates two pipe penetrations, each up to 35mm external diameter, through the same flashing. Both use the same grey silicone cone material and Nu-Lead® base.
Why is grey silicone used instead of black EPDM?
The grey silicone cone is rated for higher constant temperatures (50°C to 200°C) than standard black EPDM, making it better suited to the higher operating temperatures typically found in solar thermal pipework.
Can this flashing be used on any roof pitch?
It is rated for roof pitches from 0° to 45°, which covers the majority of UK residential tile and slate roof installations. Always confirm your specific roof pitch falls within this range before installation.
Does this flashing meet MCS requirements?
Yes, this is described by the manufacturer as a purpose-made durable solution, as required by MCS, for solar thermal pipe and cable penetrations on tile and slate roofs.
