15mm Gravity / Conventional Systems Suits CalSoft Mini Suits CalSoft Midi Max 50 l/min

The Calmag Standard 15mm Installation Kit provides all the hoses, valves, and fittings required to connect either a CalSoft Mini or CalSoft Midi water softener to a 15mm plumbing system. This kit is designed for conventional gravity-fed vented systems with 15mm pipework — typically older properties or those without a pressurised/unvented cylinder. The 15mm kit delivers a maximum flow rate of 50 l/min, which is adequate for gravity-fed and most standard combi boiler systems with 15mm pipework connections.

Where the CalSoft Mini is ordered with this kit (the CALSOFTMINI c/w 22mm kit listing), the 22mm kit is included. This listing is for the 15mm kit sold separately — for example, when purchasing the CalSoft Midi (unit only) or when replacing worn installation hoses on an existing installation.

💡 15mm Kit or 22mm/19mm Hi-Flow Hoses?

Use the 15mm kit for: conventional gravity-fed (vented) systems, properties where the main pipework is 15mm, and systems with low to moderate flow demand. Use the 19mm/22mm Hi-Flow Hoses for: combi boilers with 22mm connections, unvented (pressurised) cylinders, Megaflow systems, or any installation requiring flow rates above 50 l/min. If unsure, check your existing pipework diameter at the intended installation point.

⚠️ This kit is compatible with both the CalSoft Mini and CalSoft Midi softeners. The bypass valve with integrated meter is supplied with the softener unit — only the installation hose kit is supplied here. Ensure the bypass valve is ordered with or already installed before fitting this kit.
