The Ariston Cube S Net (3319126) is a Wi-Fi enabled modulating room thermostat designed to pair with any Ariston boiler running the BridgeNet® BUS protocol — including the entire ONE Series (Clas ONE, Clas ONE R, Genus ONE, E-Combi ONE, E-System ONE, Clas System ONE, Alteas ONE+). Unlike a generic on/off room stat, Cube S Net establishes two-way communication with the boiler, allowing the appliance to modulate flow temperature to actual demand rather than cycling at full output — the mechanism behind its ErP Class V temperature-control rating (up to Class VIII in multi-zone configurations).
Wi-Fi is embedded directly in the thermostat, so no separate gateway is required. Once paired with the Ariston NET app and a free Ariston NET cloud account, the homeowner gets full remote control of heating and hot water, weekly scheduling, internet weather compensation, energy-consumption monitoring, real-time boiler fault notifications, and — with a service contract — Teleassistance remote diagnostics. Alexa voice control is supported natively. The unit is powered directly from the boiler's BUS line (with a 3.7 V 500 mAh lithium-ion backup battery), housed in a 19.1 mm-slim Italian-designed enclosure with a high-resolution backlit display and touch keys.

Compatibility caveat. The Cube S Net is a BridgeNet® BUS device — it will not work as a plain volt-free room stat on non-Ariston boilers or on older Ariston appliances without BusBridgeNet terminals. Compatible ranges: Clas ONE, Clas ONE R, Genus ONE / Genus ONE NET, E-Combi ONE, E-System ONE, Clas System ONE, Alteas ONE+ NET, Cares Premium, and other BusBridgeNet-enabled Ariston boilers. Check the boiler's terminal strip for a BUS pair before ordering.
Installation notes from the manufacturer manual. Mount approximately 1.5 m above floor level, away from heat sources, draughts, doorways and direct sunlight. Wire the two-core BUS cable to the boiler terminal strip using shielded or twisted-pair cable, minimum 0.5 mm² conductor, maximum 50 m run. Isolate the boiler at its two-position external switch before making any connections. Installation must be carried out by a qualified technician.
Modulating 2-Way BUS
Cube S Net exchanges continuous data with the boiler over BridgeNet®, so the appliance modulates flow temperature to real demand rather than cycling on/off. That's the mechanism behind the ErP Class V rating and the reduced short-cycling wear on the heat exchanger.
Wi-Fi & Ariston NET App
Onboard 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi (WPA/WPA2 Personal, WEP) connects the thermostat directly to the Ariston NET cloud — no separate gateway or bridge. Homeowners get full remote control of heating and hot water from iOS, Android or web portal.
Internet Weather Compensation

Which Ariston boilers is the Cube S Net compatible with?
Any Ariston boiler equipped with a BridgeNet® BUS terminal pair. That covers the current ONE Series — Clas ONE, Clas ONE R, Genus ONE, Genus ONE NET, E-Combi ONE, E-System ONE, Clas System ONE, Alteas ONE+ NET — plus Cares Premium and other BusBridgeNet appliances. It is not compatible with legacy Ariston boilers that predate BusBridgeNet, nor with non-Ariston boilers, because it needs the two-way BUS handshake to modulate.
Do I need a separate Wi-Fi gateway or Ariston NET box?
No. Wi-Fi is embedded inside the Cube S Net itself. Once the thermostat is wired to the boiler's BUS terminals and registered against a free Ariston NET account, it connects directly to the home router — no separate hub, bridge or gateway is required.
What is BridgeNet® BUS and why does it matter?
BridgeNet® is Ariston's proprietary 2-wire, polarity-free digital BUS — functionally equivalent to OpenTherm but a closed protocol. It carries continuous two-way data between the control and the boiler, so the boiler can modulate flow temperature instead of firing at full power and switching off. That translates directly into fewer on/off cycles, lower fuel use, and the ErP Class V rating.
Does it work with Alexa or Google Home?
The Cube S Net has a native Amazon Alexa skill, giving voice control of set-point, mode and schedule. Google Home / Google Assistant integration is not supported by the Ariston NET platform for this model.
What ErP temperature-control class does it deliver?
Out of the box, the Cube S Net is an ErP Class V (+3%) modulating room controller. Enable the internet weather data option (or wire an optional outdoor sensor) and it upgrades to Class VI (+4%). In a full 3-zone system with two room sensors it reaches Class VIII (+5%) — the highest ErP contribution defined for boiler controls.
How is it wired to the boiler?
Two wires from the thermostat base to the BUS terminal on the boiler PCB — polarity-free. Use shielded or twisted-pair cable, minimum 0.5 mm² cross-section, maximum 50 m run to avoid interference. Isolate the boiler at its external two-position switch before making the connection. Installation must be carried out by a competent technician.
