The SolaX T-BAT-SYS-HV-S3.6 is a modular high-voltage LiFePO4 (LFP) battery system built from TP-HS3.6 modules, each adding roughly 3.3kWh of usable energy. Stack 2 to 13 modules on a single BMS to build a system from 7.3kWh to 47.9kWh nominal (6.5kWh to 43.1kWh usable at 90% depth of discharge), and extend it later as your energy needs grow.
It delivers 50A maximum charge and discharge current and uses built-in battery heating so it can charge and discharge from -30°C to 53°C. The cells are rated for over 6,000 cycles, the enclosure is IP65 for indoor or outdoor use, and soft-start protection shields the batteries and inverter from sudden surges.
Installation is quick: stackable modules, pre-wired communication cables and floor mounting make it a single-person install, with remote diagnosis and updates through the inverter. It is designed for SolaX hybrid inverters, including the X3 Ultra, which can run two independent battery ports for up to 26 modules.

Capacity Explained
The 3.6 in the model name is a nominal label. Each module provides about 3.65kWh nominal and roughly 3.3kWh usable at 90% depth of discharge. SolaX quotes system capacity as 7.3kWh to 47.9kWh nominal and 6.5kWh to 43.1kWh usable, so check which figure any other listing is quoting.
Required Components
A BMS (TBMS-MCS0800) is required for every system, and it is a separate item from the battery modules. Systems of 10 or more modules must be built as two stacks joined with a Series Box. Depending on your inverter and module count you may need more than one BMS, so always check the SolaX datasheet and installation guide for exact quantities before ordering.
Important Safety Information
High-voltage battery systems must be installed and commissioned by a competent, qualified installer following the SolaX installation guide and BS 7671. Follow MCS requirements and notify the DNO under G98/G99 where applicable. Never mix different battery types or makes, and do not charge or discharge a damaged module.
Modular & Extendable
Build from 2 to 13 modules and extend the system during its lifetime, so you can start smaller and add capacity later.
Cold-Weather Performance
Unique battery heating technology allows charging and discharging from -30°C to 53°C, so it keeps working in frigid conditions.
Safe LFP Chemistry
Reliable LFP cells with soft-start protection against sudden surges and a cycle life of over 6,000 cycles.
IP65 Enclosure
IP65 protection is suitable for both indoor and outdoor installation. Refer to the user manual for the installation conditions.
Fast Single-Person Install
Stackable modules and pre-wired communication cables give plug-and-play setup, and the system stands on a floor stand.
Remote Diagnosis
Remote diagnosis and updates are handled via the inverter, saving site visits.

Check Before You Order
Module limits differ between single-phase and three-phase setups beyond 8 modules. Confirm the exact configuration, BMS quantity and Series Box requirement for your inverter in the SolaX documentation.
What is the usable capacity of one module?
Roughly 3.3kWh usable per module at 90% depth of discharge, from about 3.65kWh nominal. The '3.6' in the model name is a nominal label. Total system usable capacity ranges from 6.5kWh with 2 modules to 43.1kWh with 13.
How many modules can I fit?
Between 2 and 13 modules per battery port. The X3 Hybrid G4 Pro and X3 Ultra have two battery ports, so they support up to 26 modules in total.
Do I need a BMS and a Series Box?
A BMS (TBMS-MCS0800) is required for every system. A Series Box is required from 10 modules, where the system is built as two stacks. Always confirm quantities for your inverter and module count.
Can it work in cold weather?
Yes. Built-in heating lets the battery charge and discharge from -30°C to 53°C. Without the heating function the charge range is 0 to 53°C and the discharge range is -20 to 53°C.
Can I install it outdoors?
It is rated IP65 for both indoor and outdoor use. Refer to the SolaX user manual for the required installation conditions, and mount it on the supplied floor stand.
Can I add more modules later?
Yes. The system is extendable during its lifetime. Add modules within the limit your inverter supports, and remember that going to 10 or more modules needs a Series Box.
Can I mix it with other SolaX batteries?
No. The SolaX installation guide warns not to mix different types or makes of battery module. Use TP-HS3.6 modules only within a T-BAT-SYS-HV-S3.6 system.
