Sealing Ring for 75mm Semi-Rigid Radial Duct

Description

The Casavent SRD-SR-75 is a synthetic rubber sealing ring sized for 75mm semi-rigid radial ducting, used to provide an airtight connection between the duct and its adapter, flange, or plenum spigot. Fitting over the outside of the duct at the connection point, the ring is compressed by the lock ring or connector to seal the joint.

Keeping a few spares on hand is useful for any installation, since a properly seated sealing ring is what allows the push-fit duct connections throughout a radial system to maintain their air-tightness rating over time.

System Component This sealing ring is a small spare/accessory part used at duct-to-fitting connection points — it does not include the duct, adapter, or flange itself.

Airtight Duct Connections Positioned over the outside of the duct at each connection point, the ring is compressed by the lock ring or connector to form an airtight seal between duct and fitting.	Synthetic Rubber Construction Made from synthetic rubber, the ring maintains its sealing properties across a working temperature range of -20°C to +60°C.
Simple Push-Fit Installation The ring requires no tools or adhesives — it is slipped over the duct end before the connector or lock ring is fitted.	Useful Spare Part Keeping spare sealing rings on site means a damaged or displaced ring can be replaced quickly without holding up an installation.

What does this sealing ring do?

It fits over the outside of a 75mm semi-rigid duct at a connection point and is compressed by the lock ring or connector to form an airtight joint.

What is it made from?

Synthetic rubber, rated for use between -20°C and +60°C.

Do I need tools to fit it?

No — it is a simple push-fit component slipped over the duct end before the connector is fitted.

Why keep spares on site?

A worn, damaged, or displaced sealing ring can compromise the air-tightness of a duct joint. Having spares on hand lets an installer replace one quickly without delaying the job.
