The Panasonic CU-3Z68CBE is a 3-connection Free Multi Z outdoor condensing unit, built to run up to three independently controlled indoor units from a single external condenser. It uses the R32 refrigerant and an inverter-driven rotary compressor to deliver flexible, room-by-room heating and cooling for homes and small offices where running three separate outdoor units isn't practical or permitted.
Rated at 6.8kW nominal cooling and 8.5kW nominal heating, the CU-3Z68CBE supports a combined indoor capacity range of 4.5kW to 11.2kW, giving installers real freedom to mix and match indoor unit types and sizes across a project — from compact bedrooms to open-plan living spaces — without needing matching capacities on every port.
