Description

This 140 mm white HVAC trunking protects and neatly covers insulated refrigerant pipework, condensate drains and control cable on air conditioning installations, and also suits air-to-water heat pump flow and return pipework. The 140 mm width takes insulated pipework and associated cabling together for a clean, professional finish.

It is made from stiff, shockproof anti-UVA PVC, so it shields the pipework from sunlight, weather, accidental damage and pests. The rounded cover closes with a central closure with accidental anti-release, and the base has pre-punched slots for wall mounting. Available as a 2 m straight length, 90° internal bend, 90° external bend and wall cover in white (RAL 9010).

Measure the combined outer diameter of the insulated pipes, any condensate drain and the cable you plan to run inside, and check they fit within the 140 mm trunking. Internal depth is not published, so allow generous clearance.

⚠ Cables sharing trunking with pipework

Where electrical cables run in the same trunking as pipework, follow BS 7671 and the unit manufacturer's installation instructions. Refrigerant pipework must be installed and tested by F-Gas certified engineers before it is covered.

Fix the base to the wall through the pre-punched slots using fixings suited to the wall type, lay the pipework in, then close the rounded cover. The PVC is paintable if you want to match the wall colour.
