LPG Boilers & LPG Water Heaters from Top Brands

For homes off the mains gas grid, our LPG boiler and water heater range from Ariston, Glow-Worm, and Vaillant delivers the same efficiency and reliability as natural gas systems, running instead on propane supplied via bottled gas or a bulk storage tank. All models here are factory-set or field-convertible for LPG operation — never attempt to run a natural gas appliance on LPG without the correct conversion kit, as this is a Gas Safe compliance issue as well as a safety one.

How it works: LPG (liquefied petroleum gas) is stored as a pressurised liquid in a cylinder or tank and vaporises into gas as it's drawn off, feeding the boiler's burner via a regulator that steps the pressure down to the appliance's working range. Combustion then heats water for central heating and/or hot water exactly as a mains gas boiler would — the difference lies entirely in fuel supply and injector sizing, not in how the heat exchanger or flue operate.

Choose from combi, system, and regular (heat-only) formats depending on your property's hot water demand and existing cylinder setup. LPG storage vessels must be sited in line with BS 5482 separation distances from doors, windows, and boundaries, and installation or conversion work must only be carried out by a Gas Safe registered engineer holding LPG (CoLGP1) qualification. For rural, off-grid, and holiday-let properties, our LPG range offers a straightforward like-for-like alternative to oil, without the tank-fouling or delivery scheduling oil systems require.
