Baxi

Baxi has been at the heart of UK heating for over 150 years. Today, as part of the BDR Thermea Group, the brand covers the full range from ErP-compliant condensing gas boilers — combi, system, and heat only — through to the HP60 R290 high-temperature monobloc air source heat pump, available from 4kW to 13kW in both single-phase and three-phase configurations. The Amptec S electric system boiler rounds out the lineup for properties moving away from gas.

Gas boilers in the 6 and 8 Series are manufactured with cross-compatible Multifit flue components, keeping retrofit straightforward on replacements. Baxi's own flue range — telescopic kits, 80/125 and 60/100 terminal options, plume displacement bends, and ridge-tile outdoor sensors — is stocked here alongside the boilers.

Heat pump accessories include the 40L buffer vessel, ASHP pre-plumbed and standard stainless steel unvented cylinders (170–300L), rubber anti-vibration floor supports, and the uSense 2 wired smart thermostat and gateway — all sized and specified for the HP60 platform.

For installers: Baxi operates an MCS Umbrella Scheme that handles MCS compliance on your behalf, allowing non-MCS-certified engineers to install Baxi heat pumps and pass BUS grant eligibility to the end customer without holding their own MCS accreditation.

Controls across the range include the AmbiZen smart thermostat, the uSense 2 wireless and wired programmable room thermostats, and the RF plug-in 7-day programmable unit — all compatible with Baxi's boiler and heat pump lineup.
