The eddi+ 3-Phase must be installed by a qualified electrician with experience of three-phase wiring. The unit requires a three-phase supply and is connected between the three-phase grid connection and the heating load. A separate three-phase CT clamp or harvi sensor is required to monitor the three-phase import/export accurately. This product is not suitable for standard single-phase domestic supplies.

Can the eddi+ 3-Phase control standard single-phase immersion heaters?
The eddi+ 3-Phase is primarily designed for three-phase resistive loads. While it can be connected in certain hybrid configurations, it is most effective and correctly specified when used with three-phase heating elements. For single-phase immersion heaters in domestic settings, the eddi 2.1 is the correct product.
What solar PV systems is it compatible with?
The eddi+ 3-Phase is compatible with any grid-connected solar PV or wind generation system, whether single-phase or three-phase generation, as it measures at the grid connection point using CT clamps. It does not need to connect directly to your inverter.
Can it work alongside a myenergi zappi charger or libbi battery?
Yes. All myenergi devices share surplus information through the myenergi hub and app. You can set priorities to determine whether surplus energy goes to the battery, the EV charger, or the immersion heater first.
Is there a manual boost function for when we need extra hot water?
Yes — the eddi+ has a manual boost function accessible both from the device itself and from the myenergi app. You can trigger an immediate full-power boost regardless of surplus, drawing from the grid if necessary, and set it to run for a defined duration or until a set temperature is reached (when using a PT1000 sensor).
