The Drayton Wiser Non-relay 2nd Generation Hub (CCT501800) is the central control unit of the Wiser Home system. It connects your Wiser smart devices and lets you monitor and control them from the Wiser Home app, enabling smart home security and automation with voice commands through a smart speaker.
As a non-relay hub, it does not wire into your boiler. That makes it a flexible choice if you do not want to replace existing boiler controls, or you use a shared heating source. Pair it with Wiser radiator thermostats and other 2nd Generation devices to build up your system at your own pace.![]()

The hub uses Zigbee 3.0 to talk to Wiser devices and built-in Wi-Fi to reach the app. It also acts as a Matter bridge, bringing your Wiser Zigbee devices into Apple Home, Google Home and Amazon Alexa. Powered by the supplied USB-C adapter with UK plug.

Safety and regulations: for wall box mounting, electrical installation must be carried out only by skilled professionals, and the 5 V DC supply must be switched off before connecting to the hub. If the hub is mounted on a wall box, use the Wiser Wall Box Power Supply; if it is mounted on a wall or table, use only the supplied AC adapter. For indoor use only.
Compatibility: this hub has no relays and does not switch your boiler or heating. To control a boiler, choose a Wiser HubR (1, 2 or 3 channel). The hub connects to Wiser 2nd Generation devices. To use Matter you also need a Matter controller, such as an Apple HomePod or Apple TV 4K, a Google Nest Hub, or a compatible Amazon Echo.
Not included: the wall box, Wiser Wall Box Power Supply, screws and wall plugs are not in the box and must be bought separately. The manufacturer notes the Wiser Wall Box Power Supply is not available in the UK, so most installations will use the supplied adapter on a wall or table.

Frequently asked questions
Does this hub control my boiler?
No. It is a non-relay hub and does not wire into your boiler. If you want Wiser to switch your boiler, you need a Wiser HubR. This hub is for adding Wiser devices alongside your existing controls.
What can I connect to it?
Wiser 2nd Generation devices, including radiator thermostats, room thermostats, sensors, plugs, the underfloor heating controller, electrical heat switch, micro modules and the smoke alarm.
Does it work with Apple Home, Google Home and Alexa?
Yes. The hub is a Matter bridge, so Wiser Zigbee devices can be added to Apple Home, Google Home and Amazon Alexa. You need a Matter controller such as an Apple HomePod or Apple TV 4K, a Google Nest Hub or a compatible Amazon Echo.
Do I need an internet connection?
The hub uses Wi-Fi, and the manufacturer states the Wiser Home app can manage your smart home even without internet connectivity.
How is it powered and mounted?
It is powered by the supplied 5 V DC USB-C adapter (UK plug). Mount it on a wall or place it on a table using the rubber feet. Wall box mounting needs the separately sold Wall Box Power Supply, which is not available in the UK.
Can I install it myself?
Wall or table mounting with the supplied adapter is simple. Any wall box electrical installation must be done by skilled professionals, with the 5 V DC supply switched off first.
